Beam weapons in Aurora 4X (C#) are direct‑fire systems such as lasers, particle beams, mesons, microwaves, railguns, and gauss cannons, used for both offense and point defense without consuming ammunition. All beam weapons require an assigned and active beam fire control, the target to be within range and firing arc, and the weapon to have completed its recharge cycle. They also require sufficient reactor power to meet their power recharge needs each 5‑second increment; if available power is lower than the weapon’s power requirement, the weapon will not recharge and cannot fire. This category collects all pages related to beam weapon mechanics, design considerations, and tactical employment in C# Aurora. [[Category:Weapons]]
