Fuel Storage is a ship [[component]] that stores fuel.

==Usage==
Fuel storage is essential on all ships that use [[Engine]]s. In [[VB6]], it is also needed for [[shields]]. Fuel tanks are a single point of failure that can cripple a ship if damaged, so ships that expect to see combat should generally try to carry at least 2 fuel tanks. 

The "[[Tanker]]" checkbox can be used to mark a [[vessel]] as tanker, enabling convenient commands for tankers to refill other ships and [[fleet]]s.
