Ground Unit Capabilities

These technologies provide environmental and operational bonuses that modify how ground units perform on different worlds or in special situations.

Technology RP Cost Description
Boarding Combat Capability 2,500 Allows infantry units to launch boarding attacks against enemy ships.
Desert Warfare Capability 2,500 Grants double hit chance on planets with dominant Desert terrain.
Extreme Pressure Capability 2,500 Removes penalties when operating above species pressure tolerance.
Extreme Temperature Capability 2,500 Removes penalties when operating outside species temperature tolerance.
High Gravity Capability 2,500 Removes penalties when operating above species gravity tolerance.
Jungle Warfare Capability 2,500 Grants double hit chance on planets with dominant Jungle terrain.
Low Gravity Capability 2,500 Removes penalties when operating below species gravity tolerance.
Mountain Warfare Capability 2,500 Grants double hit chance on planets with dominant Mountain terrain.
Rift Valley Warfare Capability 2,500 Grants double hit chance on planets with dominant Rift Valley terrain.
No Capability 1 Represents a unit with no special environmental capability.
